Junction City Blue Jay wrestlers open their seasons on Saturday. The varsity boys will compete at Shawnee Mission North, JV teams will be split between competitions in McPherson and Salina South and varsity girls at McPherson.
Junction City will host Shawnee Heights in both boys and girls wrestling on Wednesday.
There are 58 youth out for wrestling at JCHS. Six members of the Blue Jay boys team are ranked in Class 6A. They include Zach Petrusky, Patrick Foxworth, Anthony Petrusky, CJ Newman, Chris Owens and Isaiah Zinkan.
