Junction City, KS — The public is invited to witness innovation, determination, and entrepreneurship in action at the Veteran Entrepreneur Pitch Challenge (Vet EPiC) on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the C.L. Hoover Opera House, 135 W. 7th Street in Junction City.
Vet EPiC is a business pitch competition designed to help veterans, active-duty service members, and military spouses turn their entrepreneurial ideas into successful businesses. Over the past several weeks, participants have taken part in educational workshops covering business planning, marketing, finance, and pitch development.
Participants have spent the past several weeks developing their pitches and preparing their presentations. During the competition, entrepreneurs will pitch their businesses to a panel of judges for the opportunity to win a share of $10,000 in prize funding to help start, grow, or expand their ventures.
The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from veterans and active-duty service members as they present their businesses and compete for funding. Community support helps encourage these business owners as they work to launch new ventures and grow existing ones.
A total of $10,000 in prize funding will be awarded during the competition, with cash prizes going to the top three presentations.
Vet EPiC is made possible through the generous support of Network Kansas, Junction City First, and the C.L. Hoover Opera House.
