Jerry Petty, soldier, real estate agent with Coldwell Banker/Patriot Realty and member of the JC Breakfast Optimist Club. “I am not in real estate sales for the money, but to give back to the community – especially the kids”, he said.

From October until December 20, Jerry is donating a portion of his commission after selling a house to the JC Breakfast Optimist Club. By November 25, Jerry had completed the sale of two houses and donated $600.00 to the Club. The money will be used in the Club’s support of 15 different Geary County youth organizations and 3 scholarships.

Jerry stated that “My wife and I have fallen in love with the community and want to give back.” Jerry’s wife works at the Central Kitchen in USD 475.
