The Rotary Club of Junction City recently welcomed five candidates running for positions on the Geary County School Board to its weekly luncheon meeting.

Candidates Zeek Torres, Kristian James, Mark Hatcher, Thomas Wesoloski, and Beth Hudson each had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share why they wish to serve, and discuss their vision for the future of local education.

“Engaging with community leaders who are passionate about making a difference for students, teachers, and families is what Rotary is all about,” said Sam Steiner, President of the Rotary Club of Junction City. “We’re proud to provide a platform where civic dialogue and community connection can thrive.”

The Rotary Club of Junction City meets weekly to promote fellowship, service, and leadership development while supporting local and international humanitarian efforts.
