Geary County Fish & Game Association members meet Monday

Geary County Fish & Game Association will host their annual fish fry at the organization's August membership meeting Monday evening. The meal will begin about 6 p.m. Those who attend should bring side dishes and desserts enough to feed their family and guests. After the meeting there will be a short meeting, presentation of Junior Trap League awards and awards from the High School Clays spring season.

Upcoming Association events include a Hunter Education class on Aug. 20th. Sign-up information can be found on the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks website.

There will be a Women on Target instructional shooting clinic on Oct. 1st. Women 18 and over can experience all of the shooting and outdoor activities offered at Sportsman's Acres.

Geary County Fish & Game will also hold their second Archery shoot on Oct. 16th. The shoot will consist of a walking course, fun shoots at the static course and closing money shoot. Shirley Allen will hold a committee meeting on Sept. 8th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss and plan for this shoot.
