WABAUNSEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating domestic incident and have made an arrest.
On April 15, the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's office was notified that a man had been shot at 15979 Cattleman Road in rural Wabaunsee County, according to Sheriff Rob Hoskins.
Investigators learned a 59-year-old had been shot inside his residence during an alleged domestic quarrel. EMS transported the victim to a Topeka hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies have arrested 54-year-old Renee Lynn Larson on a requested charge of aggravated battery, knowingly use of a weapon to cause great bodily harm. attempted murder in the second degree. She is being held on a $100,000 bond, according to online jail records.
