The City's 515 Report contained a list of accomplishments from the annual Serve Sunday that took place last Sunday. Legacy Community Church, Flint Hills Church, First Christian Church, Vertical Church, and Highland Baptist Church their services to complete multiple projects throughout the City.
According to Parks and Recreation Director Joshua Gray the church volunteers along with several members of the Parks staff accomplished some much needed improvements to include the following...
--Bramlage Park got new mulch, new paint in the restrooms, and some of the playground equipment got re-painted
--The swing set at Sertoma park was re-painted
--The Riverwalk and The Wetlands docks, Gazebo, and Bridge were water sealed
--Coronado Park received new mulch and the shelter was water-sealed
--The zip line area at Playground Park got new mulch and the restrooms were painted
--The pergola at the City pool was re-stained
--North Park restrooms received new paint
--The Gazebo and bridges at Spin City mini golf all got a new clear coat and the buildings were re-painted
--The Diamond Deck at Rathert Stadium was re-stained
