Dr. Andre Oulai will join the Geary Community Hospital medical staff and team of providers at Flint Hills Orthopedic & Sports Medicine. He brings more than 30 years of experience and training in the medical field, specializing in hip and knee injuries and procedures.
Oulai attended the University of Buffalo and furthered his education at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo where he was conferred the degree, Doctor of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, PA and a Fellowship of Adult Reconstruction Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.
"Dr. Oulai joins the team with a reputation of high regard for his bedside manner and delivering high-quality care," said Margaret Grismer, Interim CEO.
Oulai can also perform redos or revisions. This is when someone has already had a hip or knee replacement and it has either worn out or needs to be redone for another reason. "Not too many surgeons like revisions," Oulai said. "They are pretty complex."
Oulai is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
