Junction City Expo produces a strong business turnout

For three hours Wednesday evening Heritage Park in downtown Junction City was full of businesses and organization vendors along with a substantial number of community members enjoying the Junction City Expo. A total of 77 vendors participated in the event.

It was an opportunity to learn what different businesses offer, enjoy food and entertainment, and visit with fellow community members.

Junction City Mayor Jeff Underhill called the turnout fantastic. "I think combining the Business Expo with the Grub and Grooves atmosphere with the bands and food vendors was a brilliant idea by the Chamber staff.

Ashley King, Director of Communications at Geary Community Hospital operated a booth at the Expo. "It's good, a great turnout. It's nice to see everybody back out in the community.

Chamber of Commerce Member Relations Coordinator Dawn Stephens credited the effort to share information ahead of the event, while Chamber President Mickey Fornaro Dean said there was gorgeous weather, and people liked the vendor attendance.
