Junction City fell to Lawrence Free State in wrestling 37-28 Tuesday night at JCHS.
Winners for Junction City in the weight classes included by fall:
--Griffin bohanan at 165 pounds, Logan Nabus 175 and Cooper Bogenhagen 190 pounds.
--Patrick 138 pounds 9-0, Jayden Melton 6-5 decision, and Ezekiel Witt by a 5-1 decision.
Tyler Gonzalez, Blue Jay coach, cited efforts by Patrick Foxworth, Cooper Bogenhagen, Logan Nabus, Kayden Blake and Ezekiel Witt. "Griffin Bohanan continues his hot streak. I'm so happy to have that kid back. He was sorely missed last year in that lineup."
Junction City has reached the holiday break.
