Geary County Emergency Management says for Friday it's looking like  redevelopment of a few storms could occur during the afternoon, after 3 PM, mainly over northeast and east central KS. The National Weather Service put Geary County in a slight to marginal risk area on Friday.

Potential Hazards include hail up to 2+ inches in diameter, wind to 60 mph and tornadoes for the afternoon. Additionally, strong non-thunderstorm winds are expected through the day, with gusts to 45 mph.

Confidence for the afternoon, development of storms is conditional on how much instability is able to build after morning storms. Coverage looks isolated for widely-scattered, but any storms that develop could quickly become severe.
