Winds out of the south - southwest sustained 15 to 25 mph with gusts 25 to 40 mph. The strongest winds are expected in north central Kansas.
There will be relative humidity in the 13-20 percent range.
Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is banned.
