JC Breakfast Optimists
There will be a JC Breakfast Optimist Club fundraiser at JC’s BBQ & Grill on Monday, May 13 from 11:00 AM until close.
The Club donates to 17 different youth organizations in Geary County. Support includes offering a $600.00 scholarship to a graduating Junction City High School senior who attends a Vo-tech school, recognizing a Student of the Quarter from St. Xavier’s Catholic Schools and a Student of the Month from Junction City High School.
The Optimists donate to the JC Community Band scholarship, support a Junior Optimist Club at St. Xavier’s Catholic Schools and will begin a chartered Junior Optimist Club at Junction City High School next school year. Club members volunteer over two thousand hours in the community each year.
JC’s BBQ & Grill will support the Club's work with 10% of the cost of your purchases on Monday, May 13 whether you use the drive through, Door dash, carry out or dine in. Donations are also accepted when they greet you or as you leave.
