GEARY COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Friday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Ford F150 driven by Troy L. Allen, 19, Derby, was northbound on Milford Lake Road just north of Interstate 70.
The driver began to lose control of the pickup. The attached trailer pulled the vehicle into the East ditch. The pickup continued northbound in the ditch for a short distance, struck a concrete culvert, became airborne and landed in the creek on the east side of the road.
EMS transported Allen and passengers Cayden S. Arnett, 19, and Blake A. Huffman, 19, both of Derby to Stomont Vail in Junction City. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
