Economic Development Advisory Commission officials have received an update on Foot Locker in Junction City.
According to Chamber President Mickey Fornaro-Dean she recently talked with the leadership at Foot Locker and operations are going well. There was some restructuring on the leadership level with an eye towards better efficiency and operation, but no reduction of workforce.
Fornaro-Dean reported that Junction City is a strong location for Foot Locker out of their four logistics facilities. A large volume of their produce is moved through the distribution center in Junction City. There are more than 900 employees there.
