Registration is now open to the public for the Geary County Historical Society’s new workshop series, Homesteading 101: Weaving.  The Weaving Workshop will be held on Saturday, February 24 from 10am-2pm with a lunch included in registration cost. 

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the history and art of weaving before creating their own woven piece. The cost for the event is $25 for historical society members and $35 for non-members. 

Registration forms can be filled out at the museum, located at 530 N. Adams. Participants must be 16 years old or older and space is limited.
