GEARY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Wednesday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Silverado driven by Sandra L. Colyer, 74, Lee's Summit, Missouri, was westbound on Interstate 70 one mile west of Junction City.
The driver fell asleep. The pickup drifted off the roadway into the north ditch. The driver overcorrected and the pickup overturned.
EMS transported Colyer to Stormont Vail. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
