The Lady Jay tennis team came off a successful home quadrangular last Thursday where they won 14 of their 17 matches vs. Manhattan, Free State and Wichita Campus to have another excellent outing vs. Marysville in a home varsity dual.
The Lady Jays defeated Marysville 8-1 in the dual and then added more matches to go 10-3 overall. Leading the way were a pair of sisters that won all 8 matches they played in singles and doubles. Hannah and Zoey Micheel each won both of their doubles matches together and then each won their singles match.
Maddi and Addi Sederlin accomplished the same feat also going 4-0 on the day. Hannah Huddleston and Kara Houck made a thrilling comeback to win the #2 doubles spot 8-6 and Andee Moore rounded out the wins by winning her singles match at the #5 position.
The Lady Jay tennis team next travels to Topeka for the Topeka High Invite on Wednesday, September 16. Matches will be held at Kossover Tennis Center and begin at 9 am.
