Robert Duane Pedula, 82, of Manhattan, KS, formerly of Leavenworth for 30+ yrs, passed away, Sunday, March 19th, at Stormont-Vail Medical Center, Topeka.
Bob was born in Sheridan, WY on November 13, 1940, the son of the late Rose Marie (Raco) and Dominic Pedula. He was united in marriage to Ruth Pedula He was a retired Vocational Rehab Specialist for the VA Hospital, but, prior to his work with the VA he was a high school shop teacher in Sheridan, WY. Bob served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era serving in Iceland.
Robert is survived by his wife Ruth of the home; a daughter, Kristen Rachel (Kevin) Caldwell, of Manhattan; a sister, Joan (Al) Smith, of Buffalo WY. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother (Frank Pedula) and sister (Linda Pedula).
A "Service of Remembrance" will be at 9:30 AM on Thursday, March 23rd, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Wamego, with Casey Rohleder officiating.
