Posted Apr 25, 2025 1:50 PM

Geary County Emergency Management announced on Friday morning the Junction City/Geary County area generally had .28" rainfall recorded (some areas may be more or less as storms have ben very scattered). Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding of creeks and rivers as well as flash flooding, particularly for locations that have received heavy rainfall in recent days.

Where the heaviest rain will be and how much could fall remains somewhat low given the expected scattered coverage of storms. Generally, heaviest rainfall will remain in central and north-central KS.
