JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – On Thursday, Oct. 30, the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, School Specialty and Eckrich will unveil a new library and media center space at Lincoln Elementary.The unveiling will begin at 10 a.m. with a special ribbon cutting and ceremony in front of students, staff and district personnel.
The new library, will be open to the public to view from 3:30 through 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30.The new space will feature new furniture and technology provided by School Specialty. Research shows that transformed learning environments support teachers' needs and can result in enthusiastic learners for years to come.Lincoln Elementary is one of five Extra Yard Makeovers provided with the support of Eckrich that are in the works through October 2025.
The project is part of the CFP Foundation’s mission to uplift teachers in grades K-12 and made possible through the support of School Specialty and Eckrich.This specific city holds a special place in the Eckrich team's heart as Junction City plays a critical role in bringing Eckrich products to family kitchen tables every day. As one of the primary production sites for Eckrich, this location is vital to upholding the quality and tradition that the brand represents.
