Posted Nov 18, 2024 9:38 PM

KDOT announced that from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, a portion of K-4 in Dickinson County is expected to close for the replacement of the railroad crossing just south of Hope.

During the removal and replacement of the existing railroad crossing, K-4 will be closed to all traffic. Through traffic on K-4 will be directed to follow the signed detour on K-43, I-70 and K-15. KDOT uses state highways for official detour routes for safety, weight and maintenance concerns. (See attached map.)
