MANHATTAN—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a gun fight in rural Riley County.
Just after 3:30p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the report of gunshots in the 3300 block of Valleydale Drive outside Manhattan, according to a media release from the Riley County Police Department.
When officers arrived on scene, they found indications of gunshots exchanged between 36- and 37-year-old males during an isolated incident. Neither party involved was present when officers arrived.
There is no perceived threat to the public regarding this incident. The investigation is ongoing, no arrests have been at this time.
