Geary County Treasurer's Office Manager Sheri Childs has announced that there will be a retirement party for Kathy Tremont, celebrating her legacy of achievement. Tremont is retiring from the Geary County Treasurer's post effective Feb. 1, and this Friday will be her last day in the office.
The retirement party is scheduled from 1-4 p.m. Friday at the Geary County Office Building, 200 East 8th Street.
