Junction City Commissioners have agreed to grant applications.
--One involves reconstruction on the River Walk Trail where a bridge is eroding. Cost estimate for the project is $193,000. If the grant is awarded the City would pay a 20% local match.
--Another grant deals with the westbound lanes where repairs are needed. There is a federal program that can help with this effort. The cost estimate is $3.4 million but no local match is required.
--The week of Nov. 3-7 was proclaimed National Veterans Small Business Week.
--Commissioners also approved replacement of a digital sign at the end of South Washington to Best LED Signs LLC. The cost will be $36,060. City announcements could be run on the sign.
