Free Fair and Rodeo will be focus areas in Geary County

Geary County 4-H Public Revue and Royalty Crowning are scheduled Thursday night at the 4-H Center on South Spring Valley Road in Junction City. That event will begin a series of busy days on the west side of town.

Junction City Rodeo dates are the 15th and 16th, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. There will be a Youth Special Needs Rodeo at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The 4-H Horse Show will be held Sunday evening the 17th at 6 p.m. followed by the Pedal Pull at 7:30 p.m. Other 4-H shows will range from the Dairy Goat / Sheep Show at 7 p.m. July 18th to the Bucket Calf and Beef Show at 7 p.m. on the 19th and the 4-H Swine Show at 6:30 p.m. on the 20th.

The annual 4-H Barbecue and Watermelon Feed will go from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday the 21st and will be followed at 6:30 p.m. that evening by the 4-H Project & Livestock Auction.
