RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a woman for alleged driving under the influence with children in the vehicle.
Just after 1a.m. Saturday, police were called to 1300 block of Wreath Ave. in Manhattan to the report of a car hitting a parked car, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Officers arrested 26-year-old Elizabeth Bennett of Manhattan who also had children in the car she was driving. Officers determined she was also intoxicated, according to the report. She was booked on requested charges of driving under the influence, endangering a child, and two counts of aggravated endangering a child.
