Fort Riley officials have announced that Col. Paul T. Krattiger, 1st Infantry Division chief of staff, and Scott Wadeson, financial readiness program manager at Army Community Services, presented an $80,800 check representing Army Emergency Relief at the Fort Riley community town hall Aug. 19.

“Over $234,400 interest loans and grants, was given to Fort Riley soldiers and their families,” said Wadeson. “These figures are better represented by the ratio of three to one. This means that for every dollar raised, there was $3 given out directly for emergency home repairs, car repairs, food and gas, emergency travel, the list goes on.”
