
JACKSON COUNTY, Kan.—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on drug allegations.
On Aug. 29, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious driver in the area of 214th and R4 Road south of Holton, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The report indicated that the driver may have struck a gate with a vehicle. A Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy quickly located the Toyota Camry and made contact with the driver who was identified as William Casey Hill, 44, of Wamego.
Deputies located illegal drug contraband allegedly in the possession of the driver. Hill was arrested on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony interference with law enforcement and driving while suspended. Hill remains in the Jackson County Jail on a $15,000 bond, according to online jail records.
