RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Monday in Manhattan.
Acording to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 1999 Ford F-350 driven by Russell Thompson, 65, had struck a 2003 Chevrolet truck driven by James Posch, 64, at the intersection of 11th Street and Bertrand Street. The impact pushed into a 2013 Toyota RAV4, driven by Korie Kirkwood, 20.
EMS transported Posch to Via Christi for his injuries and issued a citation for failing to stop at a stop sign.
The RCPD released no additional details including where the drivers were from.
