KANSAS CITY - On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the Agricultural Business Council recognized Marty Vanier, director of the National Agricultural Biosecurity Center at Kansas State University along with Blake Hurst, of Hurst Farms.

Vanier and Hurst were awarded the Jay B. Dillingham Award for Agricultural Leadership and Excellence, the highest award from the Agricultural Business Council.

The awards were presented during a luncheon at Kansas City's historic Union Station.
