The employees at the Geary County Office Building were sent home during the noon hour. County Clerk Courtney Gilbert confirmed a call about a nearby anhydrous leak was received at 12:18 p.m.
There were not any injuries and the leak was contained.
The County Office Building will reopen at 2 p.m. for advance voting to resume. Reopening of the other offices in the building will depend on the availability of employees.
