The Junction City Blues defeated Clay Center, Dodge City and Rossville to win the championship of a four team tournament at Rathert Field over the weekend.
The Blues defeated Clay Center on Saturday. Coach Pat Stivers said on Sunday they defeated Dodge City 8-3 and Rossville 9-0. He noted that the contest with Dodge City was close. We kind of opened it up with our running game late in the innings, and had I thought some good from our kids and pulled the game out "
