The Geary USD 475 Board of Education Tuesday morning approved a personnel report that includes the hiring of Brianna Little as girls head basketball coach at Junction City High School. She is a former Lady Jay assistant basketball coach.
The Board also approved administrative personnel transferred with a letter of intent for the upcoming school year. They included Marlies Gipson as Junction City Middle School principal, Chris Bogenhagen as JCHS athletic director, Bryan Scruggs for the principal's post at the Early Childhood Center and Kenneth Upham as an assistant principal at Junction City High School. All four had already been employed in the district.
The Board was informed that there are more than 20 teaching positions still open.
The BOE will tour District facilities in Milford and Junction City Thursday morning.
