MORRIS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new charges after a drug bust.

On Friday, the Morris County Sheriff's Office assisted the Herington Police Department with a drug investigation. During the investigation, K9 Kimber alerted to the presence of an illegal substance during a drug scan of the suspect vehicle.

A Deputy located methamphetamine as a result of the probable cause search.  The deputy arrested 65-year-old Anthony Sjodahl, of Herington, on a requested charges that included possession with intent to distribute Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In February of 2020, deputies arrested him on similar allegations. He has three previous drug convictions, according to the Kansas Dept. of Corrections.
