United Way announced that Day of Caring has been postponed due to weather.

United Way of Junction City-Geary County has announced that they will participate in the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce's 30th Annual Christmas Parade. This year, they will have helpers from Valor Automotive to share some Christmas cheer including hot cocoa and marshmellows.
There will also be candy canes and for young children Dolly Parton Imagination Library books as you gather near Santa's workshop in Heritage Park. Donations will be appreciated to support the United Way local initiatives.
Also, the United Way Day of Caring is this Saturday. Twelve home projects are on the list and volunteers are still needed. This event runs from 7:30 a.m. until noon. Volunteers can meet at the United Way Office at 139 East 8th Street at 7:30.
