Manhattan, Kan. - As part of the City of Manhattan’s continued investment in Aggieville’s growth and revitalization, a new Hampton Inn Hotel and parking garage will open fall 2026. This project will begin on Monday, July 14, 2025.

The Hampton Inn will be complete with 105 rooms, 100 guest parking stalls and a vision to elevate the entire district, bringing more lodging and vibrancy to Aggieville. This addition will increase accessibility for guests to frequent surrounding establishments in the district. There will not be a restaurant or bar featured in the hotel, encouraging guests to dine locally in Aggieville.

During various construction phases of the project, on-street parking along 12th Street, between Moro Street and Laramie Street, and parking along Laramie Street will be adjusted. The construction schedule has been carefully planned to minimize disruption and maintain access to Aggieville businesses, which will all continue to remain open during construction.

BHS Construction is proud to partner with the Aggieville community on this transformative project. With 60 years of experience serving Kansas, we are committed to delivering high-quality, community centered improvements that will benefit residents, businesses and visitors for generations to come.

Guided by our purpose—to Build Together and Serve Communities—this project is more than construction; it’s a lasting investment in the future of Aggieville.
