County release
Geary County Public Works Department Heavy Equipment Operators will be participating in a hands-on training course on Thursday, October 2, 2025. The class, Gravel Road & Street Maintenance, is provided through the Kansas Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). LTAP will provide two instructors to work with the employees to expand and enhance their knowledge for continued maintenance and improvements on Geary County gravel roads.
To give the operators the most conducive space and environment for this training, Geary County will close Taylor Road from Liberty Hall Road to Old Hwy 40 on October 2, 2025, from 8AM to 4:30PM.
