Winifred Frances Barker age 103, died December 21, 2020 in Clay Center, KS. She was born in LaHarpe, KS on August 9, 1917 to William and Sada (Mapes) McKeever.&nbsp;&nbsp;Winifred attended Allen County Community College for two years. In 1941, she and her husband, Loren, moved to Clay Center where he taught at CCCHS.&nbsp; Winifred worked at the Clay County Extension Office from 1961 to 1969 and at C &amp; W Rural Electric Co. from 1970 to 1981. After retiring, she volunteered at the Lighthouse for Christ, the Hospital, Meals on Wheels and was on the Board of the Presbyterian Manor.&nbsp; She was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church. Winifred is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
