RILEY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Saturday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Suburban driven by Ethan McCollum, 18, Fort Riley, was eastboiund on Kansas 18 just east of 12 Street. An unknown vehicle came into the Suburban's lane. This caused the Suburgan to travel off the road to the north. It flipped multiple times and came to rest in a ditch.
EMS transported McCollum and a passenger Dwayne Thomas, 20, Junction City, to Via Christi Manhattan. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
