KDOT release
The public is invited to attend an open house for the K-18/I-70 interchange project in Geary County on August 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Ogden Community Center, 220 Willow Street, in Ogden. This will be a come and go open house hosted by the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT).
The K-18/I-70 interchange will undergo comprehensive improvements, including the construction of a flyover bridge, a modernized north terminal, and a two-mile auxiliary lane to improve safety and accommodate future traffic projections. Additionally, the southbound ramp connecting to westbound I-70 will be improved.
KDOT will have project display boards available for review, and the public will have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with KDOT staff in regard to the overall project and design concepts for the K-18/I-70 interchange. This project is currently in the final design phase.
