Jean Theresa Jensen age 89 died at Homestead Assisted Living in Manhattan, KS.  She was born December 17, 1934 in Manhattan the daughter of Robert James and Hilda Theresa (Mallon) Rowe. Jean attended Sacred Heart Academy through sixth grade and then attended Keats school graduating in 1953.

She was a homemaker most of her life, but in her later years, she worked at Schram Dodge in Manhattan for about 12 years as a Five Star Coordinator. Her main duty was reaching out by phone, to their sales customers inquiring company satisfaction.

Jean was very devoted to her faith and was a member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church and for 12 years she and her twin sister, Joan took care of the Adoration Chapel and was a member of the Seven Dolors Alter Society.  She was a member of the Stagg Hill women’s golf Association which she accomplished hole-in-one shots.

The most important part of her life was her family. She married Jack Jensen in 1953. Survivors include her six children, Linda Jennings, Manhattan, Ks, Richard Jensen, Manhattan, Ks, Jack Jensen and wife, Vivian of Branson, Mo, Diane Noll, Manhattan, Ks, David Jensen, Lawrence, Ks. Dan Jensen and wife Xiangying from Novato, Ca; one surviving brother Jim Rowe of Riverside Ca; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law‘s Scott Jennings and Keith Noll; eleven siblings Gladys Daniels, Thelma Draper, Bertha Delisle, Robert Rowe, Bill Rowe, Margaret Adams, Bess Nudson, Bernice Enlow, Patty Massey, Betty Sherman, and her twin Joan Ackerman.

Mass of the Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 6th, at Seven Dolors Catholic Church with Father Gale Hammerschmidt as celebrant. Private Family interment will follow in St Patrick’s Cemetery in Ogden Kansas.
