The Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Camp was established in 1958 by the actor who among other roles portrayed Wyatt Earp in a television series. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving more than 10,000 local and international high school students. HOBY programs allow students to participate in unique leadership training, service learning and cultural experiences. A sophomore student is chosen by their local high school.
Morgan Nabus was selected by the Junction City High School staff and coordinated by Crystal Holzer, Junction City High School’s Freshman Success Academy Counselor. The JC Breakfast Optimist Club annually sponsors the JCHS HOBY Leadership Camp attendee.
