RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged gun theft.
Just after 8p.m. Monday, officers filed a report for theft in the 500 block of N. Manhattan in Aggieville, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 23-year-old man reported his 1911 A1 Tanker 45ACP handgun was stolen from the trunk of his car on October 8, 2022 while in the parking lot of Dirty Dawgs.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
