There have been two filings for the 68th District seat in the Kansas Houses of Representatives.
Nathan Butler, Junction City, notified JC Post of his decision to run for the seat. Butler is currently a member of the Junction City Commission and is a former USD 475 school board member.
According to the Secretary of State's Office, John Seibel, Burdick, has also filed for election to the seat. Both Seibel and Butler filed as Republicans.
The 68th District includes a portion of Junction City. The primary election would occur in August and the general election in November.
