Geary County Sheriff Nate Boeckman provided a rundown on case numbers for the past two weeks to the Geary County Commission on Monday. The Sheriff's Department worked 523 incidents combined, made 30 arrests, conducted two DUI investigaions, one drug investigation, handled three assault and battery cases and there were 214 total traffic stops. There were an average of 87 inmates in the Geary County Detention Center.
