The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidate coffee (meet-and-greet) on Saturday morning with the 10 candidates for the Junction City Commission. All 10 candidates were in attendance, and a large crowd showed up at the Blu Restaurant and Bar.
Kelly Cook, the Director of Member Relations for the Chamber, briefly introduced the candidates before they found a table or space to discuss their goals.
"The event was extremely well attended," Cook said. "All 10 candidates showed up, and the attendees were engaged, as they had the opportunity to meet with each candidate personally. We appreciate Blu for allowing us the time, the community for showing up, and to all of the candidates, good luck."

There will be an August 5th Primary Election where the candidate list will be cut down from 10 to six. There will then be the general election in November. Three seats are up for election on the City Commission.
