Department of Defense is providing vaccination support in the United States. Major General D.A. Sims confirmed that Fort Riley has been asked to do part of that. "Later this week we will deploy a vaccination support team coming from Second Brigade that will deploy here in the United States to assist in providing increased numbers of vaccinations in a particular part of the country."
Sims added that this involves about 150 people and could go a little larger over time. He noted that this is one of those things in our country where they're able to make a big differencre.
