Update: 1 hospitalized after motorcycles collide on Highway 13

RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Monday in Riley County.

According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, Parker Pre-Genzer, 21, of Junction City had been riding northbound on Highway 13 with a group of motorcycles when he attempted to turn left on his motorcycle at Tuttle Cove Road.

Pre-Genzer was riding next to Pedro Pedroza, 20, of Wichita and they collided at the intersection.

EMS transported Pre-Genzer to Via Christi for treatment of minor injuries.

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Highway 13 and Tuttle Cove Rd. on June 12, 2023, around 3:15 p.m.

MANHATTAN - Just before 3:30 pm, Riley County Police Department posted an alert on social media asking the public to avoid the area of Northbound Highway 13 and Tuttle Creek Boulevard while emergency crews work the scene of a two motorcycle crash.

The intersection will be closed while crews work the scene, travelers should plan to take alternate routes until the roadway is reopened.

Access to Tuttle Cove Road will also be affected while crews work the scene of the crash.
