RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged text scam.
Just after 6:30p.m. Wednesday, officers filed a report for theft by deception and unlawful computer acts, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Fox Home Innovations LLC reported an unknown suspect posing as an employee instructed another employee through text messages to purchase 11 Apple gift cards.
